There is lots of discussion these days about reducing our carbon footprint and the easiest way for the concrete industry to do this is to double or triple the life of any concrete structure or pavement.
Most concrete sealing companies are companies that power wash homes or do landscaping. They mostly use siloxane-based water repellent/sealers that would take at least 4 applications to reduce absorption into the concrete by 59%. These sealers will last anywhere from 6 months to 3 years depending on the porosity of the concrete and how much product is used. Will they warrant their products?
